There has been a Castle here since the time of William the Conqueror, what you see today are buildings which have survived since the 17th century. The Castle has much to offer especially the views over the Derbyshire countryside. For information on opening times entry costs visit the English Heritage web page.

include the Entrance Hall, the Gallery and the Great Hall/Dinning room.
