The fountain was presented to Richard Nathaniel Curzon
Viscount Scarsdale on his fiftieth year 1925-1975 as Lord of
Kedleston by his family tenants and employees.

This 13th century church is the only survivor of the original
Kedleston village and contains many monuments to the Curzon family.
