Southwell Minster

The present Minster dates from the early 12th century but was founded in 956. It is distinctive by the 'Pepperpots' as they are known of the Minster's west front.
 Southwell is England's smallest Cathedral town.

Historic 16th century coaching inn, just below the Minster. In 1646
King Charles 1st spent his last hours of freedom here before his final surrender.
